In his first appearance on PoliticsNation, George Zimmerman’s lawyer Mark O’Mara joined Reverend Al Sharpton to discuss the details in the case of the 2012 shooting death of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin.
Martin’s parents and their lawyer, Benjamin Crump, have appeared on PoliticsNation in the past, including as recently as Tuesday when Crump joined the show to discuss some of the developments in a pre-trial hearing.
Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch volunteer, has pleaded not guilty in the case, claiming he shot Martin in self-defense.
Note: George Zimmerman has sued NBCUniversal for defamation, and the company has strongly denied his allegations.
