Michele Bachmann is back and more bombastic than ever.

The Minnesota congresswoman and Tea Party favorite commemorated the third anniversary of Obamacare by declaring the law will “literally” kill Americans.

“Repeal this failure before it literally kills women, kills children, kills senior citizens,” Bachmann said on the House floor on Thursday. The failed Republican presidential candidate added, “Let’s not do that. Let’s love people, let’s care about people. Let’s repeal it now while we can.”

Her argument?

Bachmann is insisting employers, under Obamacare, have the choice of providing health insurance only to their workers and not to their families. She argued women are more likely to rely on their husbands for health insurance instead of the other way around. “It’s a bad, sneaky deal,” she said.

Bachmann also said the vulnerable will have to “pay more and they get less.” As Think Progress points out, ACA has saved senior citizens more than $6 billion, kept millions of young Americans on their parents’ health plans for longer and has given more than 34 million people Medicare preventative services without additional cost-sharing.

Last year, the House unsuccessfully voted to repeal Obama’s Affordable Care Act more than 30 times. The Supreme Court has held up the law, and even House Speaker John Boehner has gone as far as to say Obamacare is the “law of the land.”

But that hasn’t stopped Bachmann. Or Republican Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin–the House Budget Committee chairman’s budget assumes that Obamacare will be repealed.

Bachmann’s lengthy speech comes the same week she was caught on camera running away–literally–from CNN’s Dana Bash. Bash was attempting to followup with the lawmaker’s recent remarks at CPAC, claiming the Obama family costs taxpayers $1.4 billion a year in “perks and excess.”
