With the recent hike in gas prices, we are all feeling the pain at the pump, which experts believe wont disappear anytime soon.

Drivers are feeling the pain at the pump. The price of gasoline has skyrocketed in the past few days and experts say there won’t be any relief soon. According to the national average, regular gas is now $3.78 a gallon, which is .14 cents higher than it was a week ago. And just a month ago we were paying $3.32 a gallon.

So is there a solution to our pain at the pump? One could be raising the gasoline tax. Energy columnist Dan Dicker told the hosts, “we need to raise money somewhere in order to move ourselves towards renewable, and the gas tax is one of the ways to kind of do that.” Another suggestion that Dan had: “natural gas as a transport fuel.”
