On Saturday’s Up w/ Chris Hayes, we’ll discuss the stunning press conference on gun control by the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre, and what it means for the gun control debate moving forward. John Kerry (D-MA) to be the next secretary of state, and the crusade against one of President Obama’s other possible cabinet nominees, former Sen. Chuck Hagel, who’s on the shortlist to be secretary of defense. Plus: We’ll discuss the depictions of torture in Zero Dark Thirty, the new film on the hunt for Osama bin Laden.
