Police say a man got stuck in the ductwork while trying to rob a mid-Michigan supermarket over the weekend.

Jeremy A. Garza was arraigned Tuesday in Gratiot County District Court on a charge of breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny.

Authorities say the 27-year-old Garza got stuck in the Alma supermarket's ductwork Saturday night/early Sunday.

He was placed on a $250,000 bond.

Gratiot County Prosecutor Keith Kushion says Family Fare supermarket employees heard banging before someone yelled out: "I am stuck."

The Morning Sun of Mount Pleasant reports the fire department was called to free Garza from the ductwork.

According to Kushion, Garza said he climbed up to "see the view and fell into the vent."
