The Bay County sheriff says a pilot died when his ultralight airplane crashed into a field.
Sheriff John Miller says the 63-year-old man left an airport in Pinconning Wednesday morning and crashed a short time later after the plane lost power over Interstate 75.
Miller says the plane crashed in Pinconning Township around 6 a.m.
WSGW-AM reports the pilot's identity is being withheld until his family is notified.
