Callaway Golf Company has rolled out a customization platform called udesign that lets you pick the shaft, the color, and most importantly, the loft of the club head (the amount it lifts the ball) that best fit your game.

The site offers left- and right-handed heads, men's and women's models (women's clubs generally have shorter shafts and heavier heads), and an assortment of aftermarket grips if you don't like the ones Callaway supplies. The price is steep, though, about $450.

The club on offer is the driver, called the RAZR Fit. You can't pick specs for your wedge or putter, for example.
