NEW YORK, June 3, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced component changes in the Dow Jones Brazil Titans 20 ADR, Dow Jones Brazil Titans 30, Dow Jones Latin America Titans 80, Dow Jones BRIC 50 DR, Dow Jones Emerging Markets Telecommunications Titans 30 and Dow Jones Emerging Markets Sector Titans Composite 100indexes.
In the Dow Jones Brazil Titans 20 ADR Index, Dow Jones BRIC 50 DR Index and Dow Jones Emerging Markets Telecommunications Titans 30 Index, Vivo Participacoes S/A ADS (Brazil, Telecommunications, VIV) will be replaced by Telecomunicacoes de Sao Paulo S/A ADS (Brazil, Telecommunications, TSP).
In Dow Jones Brazil Titans 30 Index and Dow Jones Latin America Titans 80 Index, Vivo Participacoes S/A Pref (Brazil, Telecommunications, VIV04.BR) will be replaced by Hypermarcas S/A Ord (Brazil, Food & Beverage, HYPE3.BR).
In the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Sector Titans Composite 100 Index, Vivo Participacoes S/A Pref (Brazil, Telecommunications, VIV04.BR) will be replaced by China Unicom (Hong Kong) Ltd. (Hong Kong, Telecommunications, 0762.HK).
Vivo Participacoes S/A ADS and Vivo Participacoes S/A Pref. are being removed due to the companies' acquisition by Telecomunicacoes de Sao Paulo S/A Pref (Brazil, Telecommunications, TLPP4.BR).
All changes in the Dow Jones Brazil Titans 20 ADR, Dow Jones Brazil Titans 30, Dow Jones Latin America Titans 80, Dow Jones BRIC 50 DR, Dow Jones Emerging Markets Telecommunications Titans 30 and Dow Jones Emerging Markets Sector Titans Composite 100indexes will be effective as of the open of trading on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
