CORONA DEL MAR, Calif., June 3, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ActionView International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVEW) today reminded shareholders and fight fans that the World Championship Full Contact's "Last Man Standing" Championship Tournament is being held tomorrow, June 4th, at the Rail Event Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. First round match-ups for the "Last Man Standing" Championship Tournament are as follows: Derek Wilkerson (3-0) vs. Aaron Iriarte (0-0); Tallon Hoffman (4-4) vs. Andre Franco dos Santos (0-0); Steven Sharp (27-14) vs. Kerry Lattimer (1-1); John Neal (4-1) vs. Sean Powers (3-0); James Birdsley (20-12) vs. Pat Reeves (13-14); Jack Quintana (1-0) vs. Ty Hamblin (7-12); Michael Parker (1-2) vs. Cody Ziemer (3-0); Lucas Montoya (5-3) vs. Nick Mamalis (11-7);

The tournament will follow slightly modified MMA rules to better reflect the nature of the event. Each bout will consist of one, five minute round with the winner being paid and advancing to the next match. With a 16-man field, the winner will have fought and won a total of four rounds. Utah laws restrict a fighter to five rounds in one night, allowing for one additional round in the event of a draw. Other rule changes involve standing fighters back up if they are not actively seeking to end the fight and deducting a point if a fighter on the ground clinches in order to force the referee to stand the fight up.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online at or by calling 1-877-849-9349.
