COLUMBUS, Ind., June 2, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Indiana Bank and Trust Company won three MAXI Awards at the Mega Conference of the Indiana Bankers Association (IBA) on May 25 in downtown Indianapolis. MAXI Awards are presented annually to IBA-member institutions to recognize bank marketing excellence in Indiana. Indiana Bank and Trust won three awards, the most of any participating bank, in the categories of outdoor, point of purchase materials, and newspaper.

Joe DeHaven, President and Chief Executive Officer of the IBA, presented the MAXI Awards to LuAnne Whewell and Diane Trout-Cummins of Indiana Bank and Trust Company's marketing department.
Indiana Bank and Trust was recognized in the outdoor category for its advertisement called "Three Point Stance" that reconfirmed the bank's local established status and the bank's commitment to customer service while utilizing IBT's spokesperson, all-pro football player Jeff Saturday. The second MAXI was presented for the lobby signage that created awareness for the bank's initials as well as illustrated what IBT can do for customers with messages that included the three initials. The final MAXI was presented for Indiana Bank and Trust's Financial Advisory Services advertisement that encouraged customers to consider IBT when developing their financial game plan.
