Mr. Elden Schorn has joined the board of directors effective immediately. Mr. Schorn is currently the Chairman of the Board of Global Green Solutions Inc. () Mr. Schorn has extensive experience in business-government relations and has held numerous executive positions with trade organizations representing Canadian manufacturers and the Canadian government. Mr. Schorn previously served as Vice President, B.C. Region, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association, Canada's leading business network. He also served as Consul and Senior Investment Advisor at the Canadian Consulate in New York. Mr. Schorn has filled the vacant Board position as a result of the resignation of Mr. Shawn Kim to pursue business opportunities in Asia.
Mr. Schorn states that he is enthused with the opportunity. "This Company has wonderful potential given the fact it will produce a high value Industrial Commodity while at the same time significantly reducing CO2 from the atmosphere."
The Company also welcomes Ms. Stacy Broadoway as Vice President of Corporate Development to the executive management team at Mantra.
Ms. Broadoway is a corporate structuring, corporate finance and enterprise development professional who works with emerging high-tech and green-tech leaders. She has served as an officer and director of several other public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and CNSX Exchange before coming to Mantra. Ms. Broadoway has over 12 years experience in the public markets both domestic and abroad, and possesses strong expertise in IPOs, secondary financings and ongoing maintenance of public companies. She graduated from Okanagan College, BC (now University of British Columbia) with concentrations in finance and business administration.
