SAN RAFAEL, Calif., April 28, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of Westamerica Bancorporation (Nasdaq:WABC) today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.36 per share on common stock outstanding to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 9, 2011. The dividend is payable May 20, 2011.

On April 19, 2011, Westamerica reported $22 million in net income for the three months ended March 31, 2011, or $0.77 diluted earnings per common share.
