SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 19, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Green Planet Group, Inc (OTCBB:GNPG) announced today the initial results of the Damco Distribution Services (part of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group) trial regarding two of Xentx's high technology products. Xentx Lubricants Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Green Planet Group Inc. More information about Xentx can be found at .

The two products being evaluated are the Xentx Diesel Fuel Additive and the Xentx Engine Treatment. The results to date reflect an overall fuel savings and the majority of the black smoke (unburned fuel) has disappeared. If this trial continues to be successful, Damco anticipates expanding its use to all seven distribution centers on the West Coast. Eventually, our goal is to treat all of the diesel fuel used by Maersk's fleet of trucks and large container ships.

Green Planet will release results of these tests on its website shortly and will be sending out updates regarding the on-going negotiations of Xentx.
