MINEOLA, N.Y., Feb. 23, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Clear Skies Solar, Inc (CSS) (OTCBB:CSKH), a full-service renewable energy provider to commercial, industrial, and agricultural clients, today announced that it has received additional project funding fueling a growing commercial pipeline.
"Our investors have delivered LOIs that represent the funding of the CSS Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). These 5 agreements total 457.50 kws of commercial projects brought in under our new-expansion program. These projects represent approximately $2 million which is in addition to what we have announced in the last several weeks," said Ezra Green, CEO of Clear Skies Solar.
Continuing: "Every week we are adding projects to the deal flow and, with our high-volume infrastructure, we are reducing the entire project-cycle timeline. As I have mentioned before, I am very pleased with the results of our new program and we look forward to duplicating it in other key markets."
CSS announced last Q4 2010 that it was entering into the sub-500kw commercial market as well as the residential arena. This program has proven to be very successful not only with the commercial market but has also been well received in the residential sector.
