CORONA DEL MAR, Calif., Feb. 4, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ActionView International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVEW) today announced that the WCFC will be returning to Boise, Idaho in early May, 2011 for another pro-am mixed martial arts event. Also announced was the first ever title fight, to be held in Salt Lake City, at the 155 pound weight class in April, 2011.

Joe Wooten, Chief Executive Officer of ActionView, commented on the upcoming events, "We have been working on putting together a title fight for some time now, but with so many top names out there we found it challenging to put together a system that is fair. So, for the first time ever, we are going to let the issue of who wears the WCFC belt be decided entirely in the ring. No rankings, no contenders, no contract negotiations. We will invite the top 16 available fighters to Salt Lake City and hold a one-day, single elimination, tournament-style competition. Fighters will have one round to take care of their business and advance. The winner of the event will get the WCFC belt, the entire purse money, and the respect of every fight fan in the country.

"We are also thrilled to be going back to Boise in May. The fans there were so enthusiastic and the fight card was excellent, making the decision to return an easy one. This next event will be another pro-am show featuring the best amateur fighters around and some of the top pros. The WCFC really supports the concept of a pro-am event because it gives younger fighters a chance to compete in a professional setting. There are great young athletes out there and it's exciting to see them mature as fighters and move into the professional ranks."

The next scheduled live event is a training seminar on February 19th featuring former UFC welterweight champion, Matt Serra. This is the first announced broadcast under the WCFC's exclusive content agreement with Buddhasport.com. Tickets for the live seminar sold out within a few days of going on sale, so the only chance most fans will have of attending will be by participating in the internet broadcast. Interested fans are encouraged to visit for more information.
