DUBLIN, Ireland and SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 27, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Velti plc (Nasdaq:VELT), a leading mobile marketing and advertising technology provider for brands, advertising agencies, mobile operators and media, today announced that it has priced its initial public offering in the United States of 12,518,008 ordinary shares at a price to the public of $12.00 per share. Of the ordinary shares sold in the offering, Velti is offering 11,092,300 shares and selling shareholders are offering 1,425,708 shares. In addition, Velti and the selling shareholders have granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,877,700 ordinary shares to cover over-allotments, if any. The shares will begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market on January 28, 2011 under the symbol "VELT."
