SNOHOMISH, Wash. (AP) - A Snohomish woman is taking home a $200,000 Powerball jackpot.
The Herald newspaper of Everett reports that Boeing employee Sarah Heter stopped at a convenience store in Tacoma last weekend and bought $5 worth of tickets after visiting her granddaughter, a student at Pacific Lutheran University.
She checked the numbers Monday night and found out she'd matched five out of 6 - all except the Powerball.
She says she'll buy her granddaughter a television and put the rest of the money toward retirement.
Washington Lottery added Powerball to it game line up on last year. Since then, four people in the state have won $200,000 jackpots and 47 have won $10,000.
