GT Solar International Inc. "SOLR on Thursday said it has received an order for its sapphire crystallization furnaces from South Korean polysilicon giant OCI valued at $33.3 million ... The purchase is SOLR's first commercial sale of its sapphire crystallization furnaces in Korea, which market is of great significance for LED players.
"Also this week, SOLR announced the commercial launch of the DSS650, the newest version of its industry-leading, multicrystalline ingot growth systems for the solar PV industry. The Company said the DSS650 produces ingots greater than 600 kilograms and delivers the same high quality performance and reliability that customers expect from its multicrystalline growth furnaces."
