TULSA, Okla., Jan. 20, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The announcement yesterday by the USDA that their new label "USDA Certified Biobased Product" is soon ready for placement on qualified products will allow Totally Green's (Pink Sheets:TLGN) "Green Bottle Spring Water" to use the seal as early as next month. The new label is aimed at doing for bio-based products what the government's Energy Star program has done in helping identify energy-efficient appliances. Totally Green's CEO William Horner was quoted by the January 19th edition of the Des Moines Register, "…given what we know about the interest level of consumers, I think it's going to resonate." Horner added that "it all started with the 2002 Farm Bill and Senator Tom Harkin. Rigorous testing and review of the best way to inform the public about products that meet bio-based content standards have resulted in a notice on each product label that will assist government agencies and consumers in selecting those products. Our Ingeo water bottles are among those products already approved for the program."

The descriptive Des Moines Register news article featured pictures of the Green Bottle Spring Water and a story on the 2010 transition from the company's headquarters in Iowa to the current corporate headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that included the corporate name change to Totally Green, Inc. (Pink Sheets:TLGN). Another news article in the January 19th edition of the USA Today "USDA unveils new green, bio-based label" also included a picture of the "Green Bottle Spring Water" along with a quote from Mr. Horner.

Totally Green, Inc. is completing a national survey of all available sources of spring water bottlers in the United States, so that its bottling locations will be evenly distributed to allow the company to offer its customers reduced transportation costs in moving the "Green Bottle Spring Water" from each plant to their respective locations. As many as five plants have already been selected by Totally Green to service its growing list of customers in "closed loop" venues. Horner concluded his interview with the newspaper by emphasizing the importance of the company's on site composting program utilizing their "Orca Green Machine™" which offers an innovative solution to food waste and water bottle problems for both public and private businesses.
