A Kansas City family is trying to find the rightful owners of a baby Jesus that they found sitting on their car this week.

The family told KMBC's Maria Antonia that they believe the figurine was stolen from someone's Nativity set. It was found along with real estate for-sale signs in their yard on Sunday morning in the Nearman Hills area near Wyandotte County Lake.

The bottom of the figurine is marked with "Made by Kerry and Connie. Christmas 1998. 'Thanks for everything.' The Dow family."
