The goal of the MIPI Alliance is to establish specifications for standard hardware and software interfaces in mobile devices, and encourage adoption of those standards throughout the mobile ecosystem. By joining the MIPI Alliance, MIPS Technologies is supporting these standards to speed its customers' mobile SoC development.
