Police in suburban Atlanta have seized more than 900 pounds of methamphetamine worth an estimated $45 million on the street, which they believe is one of the largest meth seizures in the country.

Gwinnett County police say they raided a house in Norcross Monday afternoon after being told a large amount of meth was being produced there. Investigators confiscated 933 pounds of meth.

Investigators have arrested 33-year-old Jose Galvez-Vela of Weslaco, Texas, and charged him with trafficking meth. Police didn't know if he had a lawyer. They are looking for others involved in the operation.

It doesn't appear that anyone was living in the home and it was used strictly for making meth.
