A 22-year-old woman who went missing after texting "help me" to her boyfriend early Monday has been found, police said.

"Leanna Ashley Duran has returned to her apartment and detectives are interviewing her at this time," the Hillsborough Country Sheriff's Office said in a statement emailed to msnbc.com.

Duran was reported missing at about 1 a.m. by her boyfriend, a half hour after she left her home in Brandon, Fla.

She sent the text saying "help me" after leaving the house, the St. Petersburg Times reported.
