One of the world's two largest cruise ships starts its journey Friday to Royal Caribbean International in Florida from Finland.
The Allure of the Seas was built in Finland by STX Europe and will take 13 days to sail to its home base of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale.
Allure shares the title of world's largest ship with Oasis of the Seas, which was delivered to Royal Caribbean last year.
The official naming ceremony for Allure of the Seas will take place Nov. 28. The ship's first cruise, a seven-night jaunt to the Caribbean, starts Dec.5.
Allure has 16 decks and can carry 5,400 passengers.
