WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 29, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:WSFS), the parent company of WSFS Bank, today announced that Gail S. Chase has joined WSFS as the Retail Office Manager of the Longwood banking office. This branch recently moved out of the Genuardi's grocery store and into a new location within the Marlborough Square Shopping Center.

Ms. Chase joins WSFS with 30 years of retail banking experience. Previously she worked for National Penn Bancshares, Inc. as a Retail Community Office Manager and previous to that, she worked at National Bank and Trust Company of Kennett Square.
In her new role, Ms. Chase will oversee the Longwood banking office located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania and help to expand WSFS's relationships with businesses and families in that area.

Ms. Chase has been an active member of the Kennett Square Lions Club since 2004, served as Treasurer from 2004 to 2009 and is a Melvin Jones award recipient. She is also involved in the Kennett Square Mushroom Festival.
WSFS currently has four offices in Pennsylvania including Glen Mills, Longwood, Oxford and Blue Bell, and offices coming soon in West Chester and Edgmont. Of the 350 WSFS ATMs, more than 30 are located in Pennsylvania providing greater convenience and access for WSFS customers.
