NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In conjunction with the new WSJ Weekend, The Wall Street Journal will launch a weekly, live interview series -- WSJ Weekend Conversations at Lincoln Center. Beginning Friday, Sept. 24, WSJ Weekend Conversations will be hosted each Friday at 10 a.m. ET from Lincoln Center in New York City, featuring interviews with artists, musicians and other newsmakers in front of a live audience in the David Rubenstein Atrium. The events are free and open to the public.
The first guest for WSJ Weekend Conversations is musician and activist Wyclef Jean, who this week announced he would end his bid for the presidency of Haiti. Mr. Jean will be interviewed by the Journal's Lee Hawkins for a discussion on a range of topics, including the recent developments with the election in Haiti, his future involvement in the country as well as upcoming projects and creative process. He will perform live following the interview.

New WSJ Weekend Set for Saturday, Sept. 25
The Wall Street Journal this weekend will unveil its expanded Saturday newspaper, WSJ Weekend, on the fifth anniversary of its launch. The paper will feature new sections, Review and Off Duty, including expanded coverage on a range of lifestyle topics, including travel, fashion, style, food, wine, design, decor, cars, and gadgets.
