SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 21, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kona Grill (Nasdaq:KONA) announced today that raising money for Share Our Strength's NO KID HUNGRY campaign isn't just a restaurant affair! Board member Berke Bakay announced today that he will donate an additional 10% of funds raised by restaurants that meet the company's goal.
The Great American Dine Out will be held nationwide with hundreds of restaurants participating and collecting donations. Share Our Strength is a foundation raising funds to end childhood hunger in America.
Berke explained, "I am blessed to have two beautiful children and am excited to be able to participate with our restaurants in achieving No Kid Hungry." Berke continued, "this is our first year participating in No Kid Hungry, but I'm confident we will make a difference. We have received great feedback from our employees, guests and other board members, all excited about the No Kid Hungry mission."
