- Charge its restaurant customers' credit/debit cards (internal credit/debit card processing)
- Credit/debit its restaurant customers' bank account using ACH (Automated Clearing House) processing for EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
Lecere's processor is National Merchant Center, a PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS (Data Security Standards) Validated Service Provider.
LCRE CEO Jim Morris stated, "We have obtained approval to charge a restaurant's credit/debit card or use ACH processing to obtain our monthly revenue. When a restaurant signs up for Lecere's FIRMS software, they must provide a credit/debit card or bank account number. The account is charged $150 at registration for a wireless router that we send to the customer. We will then charge the credit/debit card or bank account monthly, as per our pricing model.
"We are currently in the process of obtaining the ability for our restaurant customers to charge their own restaurant guests (external credit/debit card processing) through FIRMS. That approval is virtually assured.
"The ability to utilize debit/credit cards or EFTs to collect on our recurring monthly revenues should reduce accounts receivable as well as improve cash flow.
