Authorities say 171 animals were seized from an Arizona trailer home that had no running water or litter boxes.

Authorities say a couple and their two teenage children were living in the home with the 152 cats and 19 dogs.

The Pinal County Animal Care and Control director says there were layers of feces on the floor throughout the trailer in the Hidden Valley community just south of Maricopa.

With help from the sheriff's department, the animals were taken in a horse trailer to an Animal Care and Control facility.

The owners on Tuesday signed all of the animals over to the agency.

Authorities say the healthy animals will be put up for adoption.

It's not immediately clear whether the owners will be charged with animal cruelty.
