TODAYShow.com, the web site of the leading morning news broadcast, is seeking an energetic and skilled associate producer to create high-quality multimedia content – video, stills and text -- in close coordination with TODAY broadcast and TODAYshow.com staff.
The job entails developing original web-only video concepts, writing, shooting and editing video, text and community content; building engaging multimedia experiences tied to TODAY guests, talent and fans; capitalizing on news, topical opportunities and bookings, and working with other online producers to develop competitive editorial products.
The ideal candidate will bring a thorough appreciation of the TODAY brand and audience and a keen eye for stories that will connect with an online audience. Must be motivated, creative and collaborative; must be able to take direction but also exhibit a high degree of self management. Must be adept at multitasking, able to respond quickly to opportunities as they arise, anticipate technical and political challenges and deliver compelling material on deadline.
