Confession #1: 11-30-2001 2 p.m.
After repeatedly denying he murdered his daughter, Billy Cope asked for a polygraph. York County polygrapher, Mike Baker informed Cope he failed the test. Cope subsequently gave this first confession. Read the confession

During additional questioning, Cope offered this second confession to Lt. Cabiness, another investigator on the case. Read the confession

Confession #3 12-03-2001 11:00 a.m.
After confession number two, officers asked Billy Cope to return to his home and re-entact the crime for investigators who videotaped the event. Cope later told his attorneys he was making up different confessions believing that he would be released after officers learned the physical evidence didn't match what he said. Watch the confession

Confession #4 12-03-2001 1.30pm-4.55 p.m.
