Passengers used emergency slides to evacuate a flight that smelled of smoke after the plane made its scheduled landing at Kansas City International Airport.
Airport spokesman Joe McBride says no fire was detected after Midwest Airlines Flight 1903 from Milwaukee landed Monday. It's not clear what caused the smoky odor.
Many passengers were headed to the annual SkillsUSA convention, a national competition for students in such fields as welding and cosmetology.
The 104 passengers and crew members slid down safety chutes to exit the Embraer 190 jet.
Authorities say four people suffered minor injuries, including bumps and bruises, during the evacuation. One was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Calls to the airline's media line rang unanswered Monday evening.
