The news coming from Bret Michaels’ camp continues to be mostly positive despite some setbacks for the rocker.

While Michaels remains in an intensive care unit since suffering a brain hemorrhage nearly two weeks ago, his sister, Michelle Sychak, announced that “The Celebrity Apprentice” star is now able to walk.

Sychak spoke to KEZO’s “Todd n Tyler Radio Empire” Monday and said that her brother “was definitely doing better — he was kind of getting up and starting to walk a little bit.”

In addition to that improvement, Sychak revealed Michaels no longer slurs when he speaks. But not all news was good.

“What’s happened is all that blood in his brain is starting to drain, and he’s starting to have a lot of back pain,” Sychak said. “I can hear it in his voice. I know he’s in a lot of pain.”

Michaels’ sibling went on to counter overly optimistic reports that imply the singer could leave the hospital any day. Sychak is hopeful for her brother’s release, but realistic about his current condition.

“Obviously, if he’s up and moving, that’s great, but honestly it’s not going to surprise me if he’s still in the ICU Friday,” she told the radio hosts. “I think (the doctors are) having a problem really getting the bleeding. Even though they’ve sort of caught it, I think there are some issues with them really stopping and figuring out the source. That’s why (there’s) back pain.”

Brown responds to boxing controversy

Celebrity Sightings

Chris Brown didn’t expect to become a trending Twitter target Saturday night when he performed the “Star Spangled Banner” prior to a boxing matchup between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosely, but that’s just what happened when microbloggers slammed the singer.

Detractors questioned and complained about Brown’s decision to perform at a fight considering his relatively recent conviction for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown simply saw the hubbub as more of the same from his harshest critics.

“I’m human,” the recording artist wrote. “How many of u r perfect???????? If there is no forgiveness, there is no change… I’m humbled by everything. If I wasn’t somewhat sane and loved my fans and music so damn much, I would give up, but that’s not why I was put on this earth... you’ll see!”

Dish on the fly
Concerned celebu-dad Michael Lohan may be pursing a to control daughter Lindsay Lohan, but nightlife-loving LiLo seems certain he’ll fail. “He won’t ever get that,” the actress told Gossip Cop. … Demi Moore’s personal fountain of youth can be found between the sheets. “I would say that a lot of sex helps,” the 47-year-old told the Sunday Mirror of her look-good, feel-good routine. “It's the endorphins!” … Don’t expect Sylvester Stallone to don his headband and resurrect the “Rambo” film franchise again. “I think that ‘Rambo's’ pretty well done,” the actor told Empire magazine of the inevitable end of an era. “I don't think that there will be anymore. I am about 99 percent sure.”
