Medical software maker Merge Healthcare Inc. said Monday it appointed Jeff Surges to its board of directors.
Surges is the president of U.S. sales for Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions Inc., a company that compiles and maintains electronic health records. He is a former president and CEO of Extended Care Information Network, which was bought by Allscripts in December 2007.
