Rosiland Jordan is an NBC News Correspondent based in the network's Washington, D.C. Bureau. She joined NBC in June 2002. Jordan contributes to NBC News and MSNBC programs.
Prior to joining NBC, Jordan served as a correspondent for Tribune Broadcasting where she covered stories for WGN-TV in Chicago, WPIX-TV in New York and KTLA-TV in Los Angeles. She reported on several major national and international events including the 2000 US presidential conventions, election and court battle, the execution of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, the crisis in the Middle East and the September 11 terrorist attacks.
From 1996 to 2000, Jordan was a reporter for WFXT-TV in Boston, Mass., where she covered significant statewide stories such as the death penalty debate and the debate over public funding for a New England Patriots stadium. From 1994 to 1996, Jordan covered general news, politics and education for WITI-TV, a FOX affiliate in Milwaukee, Wis. where she won a Milwaukee Press Club Award for Journalistic Excellence in 1996. Prior to that, she was a reporter for KGUN-TV, an ABC affiliate in Tuscon, Ariz. Jordan began her broadcasting career in 1990 as a news writer for WEEI-AM radio station in Boston.
Jordan holds a Master's degree in journalism from Columbia University, and she graduated cum laude from Harvard University, Radcliffe College with a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies-Romance Languages and Literatures.
