A Washington lawmaker was hospitalized and treated for a subdural hematoma likely due to a minor head injury, The Seattle Times reported Thursday.
GOP Rep. Dave Reichert was admitted to George Washington University Hospital on Wednesday. He was successfully treated for the condition — a collection of blood outside of blood vessels on the brain.
He is expected to make a full recovery and be discharged within days, according to Reichert's office.
