Officials say a Southwest Airlines flight headed to Baltimore returned to Little Rock after crew members reported a burning smell on the plane.

Southwest Airlines spokesman Paul Flaningan says flight 2638 was diverted back to Little Rock National Airport shortly after takeoff Wednesday.

No one was hurt and the plane landed shortly after 2 p.m.

Flaningan says the plane was pulled from service so workers could determine what caused the smell. A replacement plane arrived later to take the 122 passengers to Baltimore.
