Recently business has soured in the orange juice industry. Sales are off 3 percent and growers suspect the increasing popularity of low-carbohydrate diets is to blame. NBC’s Anne Thompson reports.

There are economics attached to America’s latest diet fad — the low-carb, high-protein way of eating made popular by the late Dr. Robert Atkins and others. It is sweeping the country and while steakhouses and chicken and egg producers are happy, the high-carb food producers have a problem — so do the orange growers.
