It was an incredible day of celebrating ethnic heritages on Saturday. The annual ethnic festival was at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. It's a fundraiser for the American Civic Association. Before the dancing on stage started, the names of the victims of the tragedy at the civic association in April were read. The civic association is now providing services out of its Front Street building again. Association director, Andrew Baronoski says that has only been possible because of the community's support. Andrew says, We're also again providing refugee resettlement. We're beginning to resettle refugees in the community again since the tragedy. We received a refugee case about three weeks ago and we have two more cases arriving in the next two weeks. We're very excited to provide our humanitarian services. Also on Saturday, people had the chance to sign-up for memberships at the ACA.
