A man who carried a gun and spoke into a shoulder-mounted radio robbed a Pompano Beach man by posing as a Broward Sheriff's Office deputy.
Roland Mozard told BSO detectives that someone he didn't know knocked on his apartment door Tuesday night and identified himself as undercover deputy.
Detectives said the man asked Mozard for his identification, then handcuffed him and demanded to know where he kept his money.
Mozard told detectives the man rifled through his wallet and drawers, taking $400 and a debit card. The man then took the handcuffs off Mozard and left.
A witness helped deputies provide a sketch of the robber, who had close-cropped hair and two gold front teeth.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the sheriff's office.
