A little over one year ago, 15-year-old Max Gilpin collapsed after running sprints during practice at Pleasure Ridge Park High School in Jefferson County.
Gilpin's coach David Jason Stinson was charged in Gilpin's death.
A recently released coroner's report classifies Max Gilpin's death as an accident, but Stinson's charges stem from multiple witness accounts claiming the coach denied Gilpin and others water on a day when the heat index reached 94-degrees. Witnesses said Gilpin's body temperature was 107-degrees.
