LAS VEGAS (AP) - Britain’s Sky News is reporting that Michael
Jackson’s father is calling for a congressional investigation into
his son’s death.
Sky spoke with Joe Jackson in Las Vegas at a tribute to what
would have been the pop star’s 51st birthday.
The older Jackson said he wished his son was present to see the
celebrity star dedicated to him in the Palms Casino. He also called
for a “complete congressional investigation” into his son’s
death.
The Los Angeles County coroner announced on Friday that Michael
Jackson’s death was a homicide caused primarily by the powerful
anesthetic propofol and a sedative.
His father told Sky News he sometimes finds it hard to believe
his son is dead, especially when seeing him perform on television.
He says “it seems like he’s just performing somewhere else, and
still living.“
