Trust Luc wins Monmouth feature by two lengths

Trust Luc took command out of the gate and rolled to a nearly two-length victory over Max's First in the $52,000 feature at Monmouth Park on Wednesday.Ridden by Daniel Centeno, Trust Luc covered the six-furlong race for New Jersey-bred colts and geldings in 1:10. It was the second win in five starts this year for Trust Luc.Trained by Tim Kelly, the colt paid $3.40, $2.20 and $2.20 as the favorite in the field of five. Max's First closed ground along the rail to finish second and returned $3.20 and $2.80. Red Planet, longest shot on the board at 16-1, paid $3.80 to show.
