Mardi Gras revelers may need lady luck to be on their side if they want a place to park their campers.

(MOBILE, Ala.) July 22 - Mardi Gras revelers may need lady luck to be on their side if they want a place to park their campers. Officials say there will be 400 fewer parking spaces available at the Mobile Civic Center, because those spacers are being used for the cruise terminal. So next year, the civic center will not allow free-standing RVs into the lots, and officials say they will only provide hook ups for 24 RVs. The available spaces will be awarded through a lotter on Aug. 28. Campers need to mail in a postcard to enter the lottery, and those postcards can be picked up at the Mobile County Civic Center Box Office.
