A teenager has apologized for his role in the fatal beating of a Mexican immigrant.
Eighteen-year-old Brian Scully said in juvenile court in Pennsylvania on Monday that he took part in a July 12 fight that pitted several white teens against 25-year-old Luis Ramirez.
A Schuylkill County judge found the teen delinquent and ordered him to spend at least 90 days in a treatment center.
Scully was one of four youths charged in connection with Ramirez's death in the town of Shenandoah.
A jury this month cleared two other teens of serious charges. A fourth pleaded guilty to violating Ramirez's civil rights and faces federal prison time.
Prosecutors have called the attack a hate crime against Ramirez, an illegal immigrant.
