Authorities say three people have been arrested after a man with a rifle opened fire on a group of people eating at a Los Angeles-area taco truck, killing a man and wounding five other people.

Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Keith Ho says the shooting occurred Wednesday night in Lennox, an unincorporated area near Los Angeles International Airport.

Ho said Thursday that two men and a woman were arrested, but he had no details.

Authorities say 59-year-old Amador Cendejas-Cortes of Los Angeles died at the scene and the other victims were taken to hospitals with injuries ranging from minor to serious.

Among the wounded were two men, a woman and two boys — one 12 years old.

The motive for the attack remains under investigation.
