Middle Tennessee State University students aren't giving up their fight to save their majors. Now they're asking for the resignation of university president Sidney McPhee.
Because of the state's economic crisis, McPhee has to cut nearly $20 million from the school's budget.
Some majors and faculty positions, among other things, are on the chopping block.
Many students don't understand why the cuts have to be made if the school has millions of dollars in stimulus money coming in. But McPhee said that's only a Band-Aid because that money will dry up in two years.
