Five people, including three young boys, were killed in a crash northwest of Lubbock, Texas, public safety officials said on Friday.

The death toll in a Texas collision between an SUV and a sedan has risen to six with the death of the SUV’s driver.

University Medical Center spokeswoman Missy Dial said 76-year-old Jean Green died at the Lubbock hospital Saturday, a day after the crash.

Five people, including three young boys, died Friday at the scene of the collision about three miles northwest of Lubbock.

Green’s vehicle and a sedan carrying the five other victims collided at an intersection.

The car’s driver was in stable condition.
