Spend the summer working for the leading Internet news and features site, writing, editing and learning interactive storytelling. Intern will work with multiple sources, including video, NBC News producers, contributors and outside content providers to edit and produce stories in topic areas including: News, Politics, the Economy, Popular Culture and more… Also learn fundamentals of interactivity, including ways to build community and page layout design. Develop and manage content related to Morning Joe, Dateline and other NBC News programs, manage Web chats and other interactive content.
Candidates must have news writing, editing and interactive journalism courses. Experience in television, work on a school newspaper or website, freelance work, previous internships and excellent interpersonal skills desired.
