Authorities say at least 6 people have been injured after an explosion at a furniture factory near Evansville, Ind.

Authorities say six people were hurt in an explosion and fire Friday at a furniture factory in the southern Indiana city of Jasper.

A spokeswoman at Jasper Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center says none of the injuries is life threatening after several people were taken from the Indiana Laminates plant.
